Jared Shafran

Jared is a veteran broadcaster and content creator with more than 15 years of professional experience in sports. He is presently working in a full-time role in the National Hockey League with the Los Angeles Kings as the Senior Manager of Broadcasting and Content.

 

In total, he has worked over 1,000 games with five different organizations since beginning his hockey career. After growing up in Highland Mills, New York, Jared attended Northeastern University and earned his undergraduate degree in journalism and communications. Before joining the Kings, he spent four seasons with the Ontario Reign (AHL), five seasons with the South Carolina Stingrays (ECHL), one year as the voice of the Ferris State University men's hockey team (NCAA D1) and three campaigns with the Tri-City Storm (USHL).
